Ecofluency Experiences

Our co-director Dr. Saskia von Diest delivered a number of engaging and well-attended Ecofluency workshops and presentations on her recent visit to South Africa.

Saskia’s “Ecofluency” work has been gaining increasing attention internationally with the novel approach this philosophy takes in combining the science, art and mystery of communing with Nature.  In recognising that humans are Nature, Ecofluency acknowledges that this two-way dialogue with Nature is a skill that can be rekindled and cultivated, through the use of an expanded range of sensory awareness.

On this visit, Dr. von Diest also invited her UK-based colleague Emma Farrell for her visit to South Africa.  Emma specialises in plant consciousness and, with Saskia, they delivered a fascinating presentation at the Kwendalo Institute on the how one can find a deeper insightful relationship with plants.  This also formed part of our ongoing SCIONS series.

We look forward to continue exploring this cutting-edge interface through science and personal experience.
