Returning to Rewilding

In response to requests to offer our be.wilder.ed and rejuvenature programmes again, we went ahead and did that at the end of May at Forest Song in Fisanthoek.  Led by Matthew Zylstra, the day long programme delivered a condensed taster version to both programmes,  awakening our playful sides and nature awareness with be.wildered.ed in the morning and sinking deeper into the land with rejuvenature‘s forest immersion in the afternoon.

It’s always a treat to see that see faces ignite with delight and we’ve decided that’s reason enough to continue offering them. The welcome feedback also suggested that there is appetite for more:

I cannot recommend this workshop enough! Every activity was well thought out and so insightful in opportunities for self reflection. Overall I experienced such a sense of nostalgia, a remembrance of a younger me, being playful in nature and feeling a deep sense of time standing still. I have been amazed at how grounded I have felt in the days to follow, this has been a much needed reminder of the importance of making time more regularly to connect to nature as a way to be more present and better manage my daily life… I look forward to joining more of these workshops in future!

The next be.wilder.ed event will be at Kuthumba in The Crags on 25th August, 2024.
