be.wilder.ed

from confusion to connection

An experiential workshop rewilding our relationship with nature.

ignite the delight in waking your wild ways

be.wilder.ed is an experiential workshop designed to playfully awaken our primal joy, naturalist sense-abilities, and our wilder selves to enliven and enhance our relationship with earth.

be.wilder.ed comprises activities that awaken our awareness and curiousity about the wild world around us.  We watch, we listen, we move, we play, and we share. When we do this together in nature – as a model foraging community – we begin to rediscover the authentic joy innate to living and thriving in close relationship to the land and each other.

We begin with an overview of the underpinning philosophy and practices and then we get experiential as engage with rewilding practices such as attentive observation, introductory tracking, bird language and games that awaken our inner child.

This feel-good program is designed to improve our personal connection with wilder ways within us.  It is equally potent for parents, teacher and facilitators who are looking for ideas and insights to improve their and their children’s relationship with the rest of nature.

What past participants say:

“The return to nature facilitated by this workshop was beautifully and thoughtfully crafted and presented. It felt like a welcoming home and woke a deeper curiosity for what I’ve often overlooked and taken for granted. How I engage with nature on a daily basis has changed, and I draw deep comfort from small observations. Looking forward to the next one!”

“I cannot recommend this workshop enough! Every activity was well thought out and so insightful in opportunities for self reflection. Overall I experienced such a sense of nostalgia, a remembrance of a younger me, being playful in nature and feeling a deep sense of time standing still. I have been amazed at how grounded I have felt in the days to follow, this has been a much needed reminder of the importance of making time more regularly to connect to nature as a way to be more present and better manage my daily life. Thank you Matt for sharing your wealth of knowledge and passion for nature with us. I look forward to joining more of these workshops in future!”
